This All-American Cheerleading party was originally hosted by Colleen and Patricia over at Fig & Ruby.

These girls “had me at hello” when I saw the word CHEERLEADING! Yes…I am a former cheerleader and cheerleading coach. So a cheerleading party just makes me smile! I love how these canadians showed off their love for the stars and stripes. This party had to be so much fun for all the girls! Just look at the pics of them learning their cheers, chants and jumps! I love all the personalized details like the waterbottles and ribbons.
Have a look, leave a comment, and then hop on over to Fig & Ruby to see what else she’s got going on!
Enjoy Colleen and Patricia’s party…..

The overall “feel” was all out red white and blue. With an October birthday, it was no problem to collect 4th of July items at clear out prices. Planning in advance can often save quite a bit.
Tiny American flags: A perfectly patriotic way to welcome the guests.
Patriotic jelly bellies for the kids to “guess how many”
Gotta love the little details! Personalized water bottles.
I removed all the furniture from the living room in order to lead the kids in a little cheer clinic.

The girls were fully engaged when learning cheers. Seven is the perfect age to get creative and actually DO something with the kids!!
The girls loved having pom poms, they were a major hit!

My sweet birthday girl (top of the pyramid) got a black eye on the trampoline a few weeks before her party.

With the help of my lovely sister in law Terri, we gave all of the girls cheer make overs complete with high ponytails, star stickers on their faces, and the cheer outfits. I also made a hair bow for each girl with her name on it.

At the end of the party, The girls showcased what they learned by performing for the birthday girl’s family.
Even the treats were patriotic! The girls got to build their own mini trifles.
I really enjoyed this party theme, it is up there as one of my favorite parties to date. The kids had a great time and most importantly, the theme suited my little birthday girl perfectly.
