Jenin from Creative Hostess is having a contest to find the “Most Adorable Party of 2009!

Last year mums completely out did themselves, and we saw some pretty amazing children’s parties floating around the blogsphere. Mums got creative with their themes, and parties were fabulously detailed. We saw some swanky dessert tables and candy buffets, some strikingly creative decorations and party favours and some oh so yummy treats. I’m a firm believer in rewarding a job well done, and I believe that mums deserve some recognition and reward for their hard work and creativity in 2009. This is why I’ve decided to host The Most Adorable Kids Party Of 2009 contest, to reward deserving mums and party hostesses for a job well done.

The winners will be chosen by five talented and adept  judges, who will carefully sift through all the entries, and discerningly choose The Most Adorable Party of 2009. There are three fabulous prizes to be won, by three deserving party hostesses.

Before you hop over there to enter the contest…check out this fabulous DIY party favor idea from Party Box Designs

This party favor is truly perfect for any cupcake inspired baby shower, birthday party, or even as a great little present! It works beautifully as a grouped center piece and as a party favor, saving you both time and money by giving it two party purposes!

Simply buy boxes of cake mix, shredded coconut, chocolate chip morsels and mason jars. Then divide your cake mix into 3rds and layer the remaining ingredients into your jars! You can then attach baking instructions to the backs of your party favor tags!

Your guests will be blown away by your creativity, and thankful for such a fabulous party favor!

Citrus Inspired Birthday Party

This Citrus Inspired Birthday Party was originally hosted by Carrie at Adventures of Gnomes and Penguin.

Citrus colors are bright and cheery. They are perfect for a party and using actual citrus for some of your decor is a simple and cost effective way to add some splash to your party.

Enjoy the party…..

Today was Gwen’s 2nd birthday party! I had a ton of fun planning it, and I think it turned out quite well! We had some great friends come to join us in celebrating, but I did not get any pictures of those friends. So thank you to the Claysons, Beth, Hickmans, and Ubertis! Gwen had a great time!

First I have to thank Joan at Bitsy Creations for the wonderful invitations that she did for me! She is super fast and does wonderful work! I love everything she does! She’s also a great friend of mine! Those blemishes are not her doing, I smudged out my address so its not on this public website.
