This is a cute theme! The invitations that open up to reveal the caterpillar are so creative and for the receiver…unexpected! Everything is so well coordinated. I really like the banner and the unique way that each letter hangs on the ribbon. Oh..and the cake! How cute is that cake?

Have a look, leave a comment, and then hop on over to Jenn’s Blog to see what else she’s got going on!

Enjoy Jenn’s party…..

Since I haven’t made anything this week, I thought I would share some old pictures of my son’s birthday party last September. It was his first birthday, and as I have said, I love themes. His birthday theme was bugs. There was no better bug to help me achieve this theme than my cricut. Lets just say that my cricut saw a lot of action. I made caterpillar invites inspired by this one that I saw on SCS. They folded up into one circle and fit perfectly into an A2 envelope. I ordered The Very Lonely Firefly from Books A Million’s bargain bin online. I put a book and some gummy worms and these adorable bug cookies in each bag. We made a caterpillar cake. It was quite buggy.

The invites

William’s birthday card. The ‘thank you’ cards. The goodie bags.
The centerpiece.
